Join the March 28 car caravan to demand the immediate end of the U.S.embargo of Cuba! Chicago is joining with similar car caravans in Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, Montreal and Ottawa the last Sunday of March. The economic war carried out by the U.S. government, designed to overthrow the revolutionary government of Cuba, is now 60 years old. Public protests are necessary to force the U.S. government to end the embargo. We will meet at 2 pm on Sunday, March 28 and assemble at South Sacramento Drive and Ogden Ave, adjacent to Douglass Park. Statements of solidarity will be announced at kick off. Bring signs to decorate your vehicle. Co-sponsored by Chicago Coalition in Solidarity with Latin America, Chicago Cuba Coalition, Chicago Anti-War Coalition, Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, Party for Socialism and Liberation. End the embargo now! For more information: 630-915-0654 |
